Party Secretary Liu Ling Leads a Delegation to Visit Japan and South Korea

From January 21 to 28, 2024, Liu Ling, Secretary of the Party Committee of Xi’an Medical University, led a delegation to visit universities, hospitals and educational institutions in Japan and South Korea and signed several cooperative agreements.

In Japan, Liu Ling signed memorandum of cooperation with Nagasaki International University and discussed student exchanges in nursing, pharmacy and other majors. At Yamanashi University, both sides reviewed their teacher visits, academic exchanges, and mutual anti-epidemic assistance during the past years and signed a cooperation agreement, laying a solid foundation for promoting cooperation between two universities based on deep friendship.

The delegation also visited Kyushu Institute of Foreign Languages, Keishin Education Group, Sasebo Municipal Hospital, and the Japan Science Association, and reached cooperation intentions in areas covering students visits, hospital cooperation, cultural exchanges, and an awarding ceremony was held.

In South Korea, the delegation visited Yonsei University. In the affiliated hospital, they observed their cutting-edge technology and aviation emergency, and discussed with the International Communicative College of Yonsei University about personnel cultivation and university cooperation.

At Kyung Hee University, the two sides affirmed the significant function of the Sino-Korea Nursing Credit Exchange Project held over the past years and signed a memorandum about carrying out public health research. The delegation also visited the Affiliated Hospital of Yeongnam University, and then went to a rehabilitation hospital in Daegu for researching and studying experience of medical system to cope with aging society.

This visit expanded our "circle of friends" of cooperation and exchange in Japan and South Korea, expanded international communication and cooperation platforms for teachers, students and medical staff, learned experience of medical education and clinical work, consolidated cooperation and friendship.
